100 day push up challenge done and dusted!

100 Push up Challenge
Well, Will dared me to do the 100 day push up challenge - silly me said "YES".
100 days on, I have completed it - yeah for me!
I was due to finish it last Monday, but due to the way I have been feeling, I had to delay it by a few days.  So, I finished it yesterday.  So proud to have stuck with it, and it is amazing how much my upper body has changed.  Now, I am just going to maintain it and push out a minimum of 50 each day.
Push yourself to do it, day one is one push up - keep increasing by one each day until you reach 100 on day 100!  If I can do it, you definitely can!!!

A "family" print

This is a print that I ordered from Honey and Fizz, such a sweet, perfect print for our Guest room.  I painted a brown wooden frame that we had, and then took it to our local framing shop to get them to cut the matting.
If you are interested in checking out the range that Simone at Honey and Fizz sells, check out her facebook page.

Spring picnics

picnic
Another beautiful Spring day, so I walked the kids to our local shops, grabbed a coffee and some treats and we had a little picnic at the park.
Poor Coops, tried to run around and play with some of the kids, but his arm was hurting him too much.
So, we set up a little rug under a tree and laughed and played together.
Charlie thought it was great trying to eat leaves amongst his cheese sandwich.
Loving this beautiful weather, special moments spent in the sunshine with my little men.

Do you love a Spring time picnic?

It's here - put a SPRING in your step!

Spring

Yippee, it is here, Spring arrived today!
There is something about this beautiful season, the blossoms on the tree's, the birds starting to chirp a little earlier in the morning (not always so happy about that one), beautiful sunshine with a lot more warmth to it, social bbq catch ups............and the list goes on.
You awaken feeling so much better when the sun is shining, it means we don't have to be stuck indoors as much.
We celebrated the beginning of Spring by having a coffee on the deck at a cafe called Daisy's in Sorrento.  I highly recommend this place, the views of the bay are to die for.  You could sit there for ages just watching the world go by.  This place used to be known as Over Easy - it now has new owners and has been revamped with a hit of Melbourne coffee culture to it.  FINALLY we have somewhere in Sorrento which makes a fantastic coffee!!!!
We then wandered the streets checking out the beautiful houses.  There is still so many undiscovered nooks and crannies that we are yet to explore.
Will then had to head off to work, so I ventured out into the garden.  It was serene, where we live, we have hardly any permanent neighbours.  I love a spot of gardening, especially when the sun is shining.  I find it therapeutic, weird I know!
Once I had picked Cooper up from creche in the afternoon, I took a drive up to the apple orchard in Red Hill. This drive is always peaceful, it reminds me of driving through the Dandenongs.  The sun was glistening through the tree's, I felt as though I was a part of a Hollywood film set for a romantic comedy!
What a beautiful start to Spring......roll on sunshine and good times with family and friends.

How did you spend the first day of Spring?
